Abstract
Apparatus includes a grid holder made of flexible polyvinyl plate 2 mm thick and 45 mm square with 40 small incisions arranged in rows; a form to keep the grid holder in a curved position for facilitating insertion of grids; and a dish which allows staining while the grids are protected from air. The grid holder allows simultaneous treatment of as many as 40 grids. Its slot type incision is effective to hold a grid securely. The staining dish is slightly smaller than the holder, which permits the holder to act as a cover when inverted to immerse the grids. For autoradiography, the holder can be held vertically to bring the grids into a horizontal position to apply emulsion. Grids are drained by having the holder horizontal, grids vertical, and removing excess emulsion from the plate with absorbent paper. Keywords
