Role ofπ0η′mixing in nuclear charge asymmetry

Abstract
We show that if all aspects of semistrong and electromagnetic particle mixing are properly taken into account, the result is that the π0η and π0η contributions to charge asymmetry of the nucleon force do not substantially modify the charge asymmetric NN scattering lengths due to π0η mixing alone, and the π0η effect is 13 the (already small) π0η contribution to the He3-H3 mass difference.
