Abstract
Solutions of muscle hemoglobin free from blood hemoglobin examined by the spectrophotometer give curves very similar to those obtained from blood hemoglobin. Slight differences in these curves may be explained by a slight fermentation action which modifies the muscle hemoglobin during extraction.
