Spin Determination for Resonances Decaying to ExcitedJ=0States

Abstract
The angular distribution of a (p, p) resonance reaction leading to an excited Jf=0 target state allows an unambiguous determination of the spin of the resonance. As an example we investigate isobaric analog resonances in Nb95 decaying to the 1.30-MeV 0+ state in Zr94 and discuss the weak-coupling nature of their parent states in Zr95, based upon the spin assignments made.
