Recombination model and multimeson production

Abstract

The recombination model with Kuti-Weisskopf multiquark structure functions leads to a new power-counting rule for multimeson inclusive spectra in the small-$p_T$ domain. The parameter-free predictions for the ${\pi }^{+}{\pi }^{+}$ and ${\pi }^{-}{\pi }^{-}$ inclusive spectra are in good agreement with the UCLA-Saclay data.
