Spermatogenesis in Klinefelter's Syndrome

Abstract
Two patients with clinical evidence of Klinefelter''s syndrome, positive sex chromatin and a karyotype of 47/XXY are presented. Testicular biopsy revealed a histological picture characteristic of Klinefelter''s syndrome, but, in addition to this, small areas of spermatogenesis were encountered in a few tubules. The theoretical implications of this finding are discussed briefly.
