Abstract
A statistical study on tumour heredity has been carried out on 230 patients bearing mammary carcinoma (probands); the results are compared with those obtained in a similar investigation carried out on 230 healthy subjects (controls). The neoplastic incidence in all sites and particularly in the breast was found to be higher in the relatives of cancerous probands than in those of controls. This is confirmed by the χ2 test. Keywords
