Generation of 0.2-TW Proton Pulses

Abstract
Results are reported on the generation of MeV, pulsed ion beams at a peak power level in excess of 2 × W that have an angular divergence of about 3°-4°. Such beams can be used in the formation of field-reversing proton rings.
