Abstract
Two cases of human infection by Mima polymorpha are described. From these cases, and from the literature, it is concluded that this species is heterogeneous with respect to its biochemical properties. From comparative studies it is concluded that the genus Mima is unrelated to the genus Moraxella or to Bacterium anitratum. Keywords
