Ultrasonic Attenuation Experiments in the Heavy-Fermion-Superconductor UPt3

Abstract
We report on ultrasonic attenuation experiments in UPt3 in both the normal and superconducting state. As a function of temperature and magnetic field strength the ultrasonic attenuation shows an anomalous behaviour which demonstrates that superconductivity in UPt3 does not belong to a trivial class of superconductivity.
