Abstract
Raman spectra of the one-dimensional Zr-Zr solid solutions are reported. A mixed one-mode and two-mode phonon behavior is observed. The study of the phonon width indicates a higher sensitivity to disorder in the case of the one-mode phonons compared to the case of the two-mode phonons.
