The effects of noise.

Abstract

-This study reviews critically those studies pertaining to the effects of noise on human beings. Noise is defined as unwanted sound. Effects of sound on production, influences on vital processes, adaptation to noise, factors affecting the annoyance of noise and stimulation deafness are considered. Sixty-two studies are listed.
