Comment on a Possible Jπ=0+, T=2 Resonance in Be9(He3, γγ)C12

Abstract
The reaction Be9(He3, γγ)C12 has been reexamined near a previously reported resonance at EHe3=1.739±0.007 MeV, which was ascribed to the lowest T=2 state in C12. No resonance was observed and an upper limit ΓHe3ΓγΓ<1.5 meV is established for the T=2 resonance strength (assuming Γ1.5 keV) which is 15 of the previously reported strength.
