Abstract
Impact behavior can be predicted for rate‐dependent foams from constant rate of strain response. The response must be factorized into a rate‐dependent modulus function and a strain‐dependent function. In this way the rate‐dependent modulus can vary throughout the impact as the velocity of the impacting object decreases. This publication has 6 references indexed in Scilit:
