A Modification of the Thromboplastin Generation Test

Abstract
A modification of the thromboplastin generation test of Biggs, Doublas and MacFarlane is described in detail. This method allows the study of the particular action of each factor necessary for thromboplastin formation. Ca, Factor V and Factor VII are not active in the conversion of prothrombin into thrombin which is originated by the blood thromboplastin.
