Abstract
In 16 cases of pregnancy, 12 showed bilateral and 4 unilateral dilatation of the ureters. Histological examination of the ureter walls showed pressure injuries. Ureteral strictures of inflammatory origin were found in 3 cases, due primarily to pressure injuries followed by secondary pyogenic inflammation and repair by scar tissue. This publication has 5 references indexed in Scilit:
