Abstract
It is concluded from an analysis of existing and of new impedance measurements on PbS photoconductive cells that the observed decrease in parallel resistance with frequency is attributable to a known effect of distributed capacitance and should no longer be cited as convincing evidence for the existence of internal barriers in these photocells. These results, however, should not be construed as evidence against a barrier picture. Keywords
