Abstract
Reduced triphosphopyridine nucleotide and pyrophosphate-dependent peroxidation of lipids in rat liver microsomes were coupled to the generation of ethylene in the presence of cuprous ions. This system suggests a model for the biogenesis of ethylene in cells.Keywords
