Abstract
Following 1 inj. of 0.1 [gamma] estradiol there was a prompt increase in uterine wt., due to increased water content, which reached a max. of 60% in 6 hrs. Water accumulation was chiefly in mucosa and in sub-serosa and between muscle layers. A standard curve was constructed for uterine wt. response to estradiol dosage. From 0.0006 [gamma] to 0.1 [gamma] estradiol, a direct logarithmic relationship was established between dosage and uterine response. Unknown solns. may be assayed with immature rats. This publication has 4 references indexed in Scilit:
