Abstract
The ultraviolet photoelectron spectra of hydrogen adsorbed on W(100) have been studied as a function of the angle of emission. An analysis of this angular dependence at saturation coverage shows some indication of a two-dimensional band structure in the hydrogen-induced energy levels. We discuss the nature of the bands in terms of a molecular-orbital calculation of this adsorbed system. Keywords
