Abstract
The hopping conductivity σ is computed by solving Kirchhoff's equations for a system containing Ns = 2500 randomly distributed sites connected by conductances proportional to exp (—2αr). The calculated σ is in excellent agreement with a simple analytical formula for all sites densities ns . Reducing Ns from 2500 to 500 reduces the calculated value of log σ by 6.5% when αns −1/3 = 0.54, and by 1.1% when αns −1 /3 = 8.3.Keywords
