14 children aged 8–12 years participated in a double-blind clinical study to determine the effect of Ca and P concentrations in dental plaque and on plaque weight of consuming milk-cereal tablets in which 1% calcium glycerophosphate was incorporated for the experimental group. Two baseline samples of plaque were taken from each child 1 month apart, and tablets were then consumed 4 times a day for 3 months with further plaque samples taken at monthly intervals.
