Abstract
Age determination of various mammals by counting the annuli found in the tooth cementum has become a tool in the study of population dynamics. The coyote (Canis latrans) was studied in this matter. Variations in annuli counts between individuals, teeth and geographic areas were found. The examination of the canine tooth was recommended for determining the age of coyotes. This publication has 3 references indexed in Scilit:
