Abstract
Two psoriatic patients are reported with hyperuricemia and gout who had an episode of acute gouty arthritis within 24 hr. after the administration of methotrexate intravenously. A patient with gout and psoriasis, in which treatment with methotrexate is contemplated should probably receive prophylactic colchicine to prevent the precipitation of gouty attacks. This publication has 3 references indexed in Scilit:
