Abstract
CONDITIONED HYPERGLYCEMIA WAS OBTAINED IN THE RAT USING GLUCAGON INJECTIONS AS UCS AND THE INJECTION PROCEDURE ALONE AS CS. IN ANOTHER EXPERIMENT, A CONDITIONED INCREASE IN AN INSTRUMENTAL RESPONSE FOR FOOD WAS OBTAINED USING INSULIN AS UCS AND THE INJECTION PROCEDURE AS CS. IT IS HYPOTHESIZED THAT NEUROHUMORAL CONDITIONING MODULATES INSTRUMENTAL FOOD-GETTING RESPONSES. (PsycINFO Database Record (c) 2006 APA, all rights reserved)
