Three cases of malignant tumor of the retina were treated by radon plaques surgically applied to the posterior portion of the bulb (7 applications). This method is advocated when enucleation is either contra-indicated or refused by the patient. The advantage of utilizing a plaque rather than direct application of radioactive sources is described in detail.
