Abstract
A vessel has been designed for the study of the factors influencing sterilisation by steam at low pressure. Instruments have also been constructed for the conversion of pressure and the volume of condensate into electrical signals suitable for application to a recording potentiometer. Commercially available steam traps have been tested, compared, and found unsuitable and a modified steam trap has been produced, which is considered to be more efficient for this purpose than those normally used. Keywords
