Abstract
We have measured the elastic scattering cross section of mesons on deuterium at 3.65 BeV/c. The differential cross section is presented out to and a comparison is made with the prediction of the constant-phase Glauber formula. The agreement is good except in the region of the (theoretical) minimum at . Starting with the Glauber formula, a method is presented to relate this discrepancy to the phases of -nucleon scattering in this region.
