Abstract
The antihistaminic compounds, pyribenzamine, benadryl, and hetramine, when dropped on 3 day old chick embryos cause bradycardia, stoppage of the heart beat, and occasionally hemorrhage. The chick embryo can be used in studies on the relative toxicity of various antihistaminic compounds. Keywords
