Abstract
It has been shown that the addition of egg-white lysozyme to the treponeme immobilization reaction greatly shortens the time required for immobilization to take place. The enzyme exerts its effect upon the lag period preceding the commencement of the reaction, and it appears to have very little influence upon the kinetics of immobilization per se. The manner in which lysozyme may be reacting is discussed. Keywords
