Abstract
Pellets composed of crystalline zinc insulin and protamine in 41 ratio, containing the equivalent of 43-88 U of insulin, were administered subcut. to depancreatized dogs. Marked lowering of blood sugar occurred, lasting from 44-100 hrs. Larger pellets may cause hypoglycemic shock within 24 hrs. This publication has 1 reference indexed in Scilit:
