3 cases of acute syphilitic nephrosis are reported. In 2 of these cases unsuccessful efforts were made to demonstrate Spirocheta pallida by inoculating rabbits intratesticularly with urine centrifugates. In 2 of the 3 cases the nephrotic syndrome underwent spontaneous remission without benefit of anti-syphilitic treatment.
