Abstract
An antiapoptotic polymeric nanomedicine, PGA−peptoid 1, has been developed by the conjugation of a novel apoptotic protease activating factor 1 (Apaf-1) inhibitor (peptoid 1) to poly-l-glutamic acid (PGA). Full structural and biophysical characterization of the conjugate by different techniques has been accomplished. This macromolecule clearly enhances the antiapoptotic activity of peptoid 1 in different cell models. Keywords
