Abstract

The interpretative criteria have been expanded to include recommendations for testing Stenotrophomonas maltophilia, Campylobacter spp.1 and Coryneform organisms and there is limited information for the fast-growing anaerobes Bacteroides fragilis, Bacteroides thetaiotaomicron and Clostridium perfringens. In the section ‘Additional Information’ advice on testing Helicobacter pylori, Brucella and Legionella spp. can be found.1
