Abstract
Renal ischemia was produced in female dogs, with or without renal hypothermia by means of renal pelvis irrigation. BUN values and PSP excretion were used to determine renal function. It was found that cooling of the kidney substantially increases tolerance to renal artery occlusion.Keywords
