Abstract
A six year retrospective survey of enterococcal urinary tract infections in hospital inpatients is reported. During the study period there was an increase in the proportion of significant cultures that yielded enterococci. These organisms were more frequently isolated from catheter specimens than midstream specimens of urine and from surgical than from medical wards.This publication has 9 references indexed in Scilit:
