Oxygen as a reagent gas for the analysis of 2,3,7,8-tetrachlorodibenzo-p-dioxin by negative ion chemical ionization mass spectrometry

Abstract
Under negative ion chemical ionization conditions, the radical anion of tetrachlorodibenzo-p-dioxin (TCDD) undergoes a novel reaction with oxygen to produce an ion which is characteristic of structure and easily identified in the presence of other halogenocarbon contaminants.
