Abstract
The influence of EDTA on the germicidal activity against Ps. aeruginosa of 13 disinfectants is tested by an original method measuring the number of surviving micro-organisms after given contact times of the mixture bacterial suspension— disinfectant solution. A moderate potentiating effect was observed to Chloramine, a more pronounced one to Dettol, Neosahenyl and the quaternay ammonium compounds.
