Abstract
An investigation of the infrared spectrum of gaseous NO2Cl and the Raman spectrum of liquid NO2Cl results in the following assignment of fundamental frequencies: The structural implications of the data are discussed, and it is concluded that the structure is .However, it is not possible to say whether the molecule is planar or pyramidal.
