Genetic Control of Immune Responsiveness in Mice Responsiveness to Ovalbumin in (C57BL × DBA/2)F1 Mice

Abstract

Antibody formation following injection of a low dose (0.1 μg)of ovalbumin was significantly higher in (C57BL × DBA/2)F1 mice than in parental strains. The antibody response of genetically related strains and hybrids, such as B10.D2, (C57BL × B10.D2)F1, and (DBA/2 × B10.D2)F1 was lower than that of (C57BL × DBA/2)F1 mice.
