Interferon Inhibition of Cytoplasmic DNA Accumulation in Vaccinia Virus Infection. A Radioautographic Study

Abstract
Summary Treatment with interferon which markedly depressed vaccinia virus growth also inhibited the production of new virus DNA. This was indicated by the small number of cytoplasmic DNA grains due to tritiated thymidine found in radioautographic studies of vaccinia virus infected cells pretreated with interferon.
