THE EFFECT OF SPAYING ON BODY GROWTH AND THE ORGAN WEIGHTS OF THE ALBINO RAT

Abstract
Rats (25) were spayed at the average age of 26 days. As compared to controls when autopsied at 6 mos. of age, deviation from normal had occurred in: rate of growth, weight, tail length, size of suprarenal and thymus glands, size and weight of viscera.
