Effective blackbody temperature of high-current gas-filled flashlamps

Abstract
Under the assumption that a high‐current gas‐filled flashlamp is a fully ionized plasma and radiates as a blackbody, an expression for the effective blackbody temperature of the flashlamp is derived. This calculation is compared with the experimental results from several sources.Keywords
