Abstract
An analytical expression is derived for acoustoelectric gain under large-signal conditions. This is expressed in terms of the amplitude of an acoustically excited, sinusoidal electrical potential wave. An expression is also obtained for current saturation. In both expressions the local d.c. field is included in a parameter IMG1Keywords
