Abstract
Hydrochloric acid (0.1 N-0.2 N) was mixed with the food and fed to rabbits and rats. Chronic malnutrition of the animals resulted, manifested either in retarded growth or in actual loss of weight. There was no reduction in the ash content of the bones. The base content of muscles and viscera was studied. This publication has 2 references indexed in Scilit:
