COMPARISON OF KETAMINE AND COMBINATION KETAMINE-XYLAZINE FOR EFFECTIVE SURGICAL ANESTHESIA IN RABBIT

Abstract

Ketamine alone provided inadequate analgesia for ventral abdominal incisions or exposure of the femur. The combination of xylazine with ketamine did provide adequate analgesia for both surgical procedures.
