False aneurysm with arteriovenous fistula of the anterior tibial artery following fracture of the fibula.

Abstract
An unusual case of delayed vascular complications of long bone fracture is presented. The diagnosis was originally suggested when plain radiographs revealed a soft-tissue mass and abnormal bone remodeling at the site of an 18-mo.-old fibular fracture. The specific computed tomographic, angiographic and surgical findings are discussed.
