A chondroma is a relatively rare tumor of the larynx. It is of interest because its insidious onset frequently allows the patient to procrastinate regarding treatment until radical resection may be necessary to eliminate the simple, benign tumor. W., a 40 year old French-Irish bricklayer, entered the Research and Educational Hospital on Feb. 7, 1941, complaining of hoarseness and a change in the quality of his voice of eighteen months' duration.
