Abstract

For the first time a monolithic Q-switched Nd:MgO:LiNbO3 singlemode waveguide laser is reported. 1085μm Q-switched pulses of 2.5W peak power and l.5ns width were obtained for ∼10mW of 0.814μm coupled pump power.
