Abstract
A novel method for fabricating all fibre photoinduced chiped gratings is presented for the first time. 8 mm long gratings with reproducible chirped bandwidths between 3 and 15 nm and reflectivities up to 95% are demonstrated. Near ideal response is achieved for linear and quadratic wavelength chirped gratings. Keywords
